‘Florilegium’ (Projektraum London)
Projektraum London presents ‘Florilegium’ from 24 Apr to 6 June 2021 with new works by Frankfurt am Main, Germany, based Sara Rossi in her first show in the UK.
Opening weekend: Sat 24 and Sun 25 Apr 2021 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Sara Rossi is an Italian painter living and working in Frankfurt am Main, where she attends the painting class of Monika Baer at Städelschule (prior to this in class of Amy Sillman). She graduated from Università degli Studi di Trieste in Italy with a Master’s degree in anthropology and speech philosophy, focussing on ways to convey cultural and female identities in writing, before joining the class of Trisha Donnelly at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2015. Recent shows include: ‘All corners made to be learned’ (group show) at Attic at Bayernwerk Kunsthaus Rhenania in Cologne, Germany, ‘Polyphony’ (with Axelle Camille and Su Xia) at Las Palmas Project, Lisbon, a solo show at Regatta 2, Düsseldorf, and group shows ‘Silbertopf’ at Projektraum Georg-Schwarz-Straße, Leipzig, and ‘Cosy’ (with Lisa Baer and Rebecca Grundmann) at Im Goldenen, Düsseldorf.
